Our Story

The first Tostadas restaurant was founded in 2019 by the brothers Alex and Victor Garcia. While they were both heavily influenced by their father who worked as a Chef in various restaurants around the bay. Their mother Maria who gave them their love for the food industry.

The Tostadas name came about from a prior business of their moms, where they were famous for Tostadas and they decided to honor their mom’s legacy and bring back their childhood memories. 

The brothers had a clear idea of what they wanted to create with their gastronomy experience - a night out that felt like a trip to CDMX-Mexico City in their local area. They were determined to provide high-quality cuts of meat and unique spirits, and to infuse the experience with authentic, home-inspired flavors. Despite initial difficulties in coming up with a specific style, they were able to develop a clear vision and execute it successfully.
